fortysomething

Harry James and Alan Kennedy have been working on their harmonies since they met in high school almost thirty years ago.

In the early eighties, they landed their first playing gig when they were asked to host the weekly talent show at the Unicorn on Eglinton Avenue. That led to taping a show with the Irish Rovers. They continued playing at charity and community events and never really considered developing their act until 2005 when they were asked to play their first official show at a venue in Markham. This led to numerous requests for regular performances.

They can be seen at festivals, special events and pubs and restaurants and have developed a huge following. A highlight of their career has been a performance at Roy Thomson Hall with Brian Roman.
