“A fresh concoction of roots-injected rock that bristles with heartfelt energy”
– Lonely Vagabond (writer for Exclaim & SoundProof)

Before the Flood’s new record entitled Hole in the Sky is heavy on vocal
harmonies, layered strings, deep percussion and bass. Electronic elements
and synth add to the rich, and at other times ethereal soundscapes.

While the band’s style and performance are constantly evolving, they continue to draw comparisons to Wilco and The Shins.

Having recently toured across Quebec and the East Coast, they’ve emerged as a band to take notice of. Opening for bands like the Sheepdogs, the Northern Pikes, and most recently Reuben and the Dark; this is just the beginning.
