Dani Strong is a powerful singer/songwriter who calls both Ontario and BC home. Her new single, Wild Summer hit the airwaves in March 2020, and her 2nd full-length album is now complete and set to release in 2020. Dani has had to cancel her 2nd nationwide tour due to the covid-19 virus. The Tour was set to start on March 23 in Halifax.
Dani’s latest single, ‘Wild Summer’ is a fun and fresh sound for her as she plays with a “country-pop” feel to bring her fans into the warmer days of summer. She wrote the song about her first summer with her now husband, Grant Taylor (also her drummer) , when they would spend their days hanging out in “chicken baby” on Lake Simcoe.
Dani’s previous single, Not Right Now was nominated for two awards at the International Independent Music Awards held in New York City in June of 2019. Not Right Now has also featured in the film Hometown Holiday on Amazon Prime TV. Dani’s debut album, ‘Time To Breathe’ hit #1 on the iTunes country charts and #2 over all genres! The album has earned her multiple nominations, two awards and was the springboard into her career today.
