Since 1978, Markham Concert Band (MCB) has entertained Markham with the best in concert band music. Our volunteer musicians range in age from their teens to their eighties, united by their love of music we perform a wide range of music for many genres.
I’m an artist from Toronto. I bring awareness to the atrocities faced by the indigenous communities through music. I also drop tracks on everyday life and spread positivity, knowledge, and good vibes!

North of 49 is an exciting, high-energy band performing throughout Ontario, delivering some of the very best classic rock and pop from the 1970s through the 1990s. With a setlist packed full of crowdpleasing favourites, audiences can expect to hear timeless hits from iconic artists such as Journey, Bon Jovi, Fleetwood Mac, the Eagles, the Doobie Brothers, and many more.
With over 20 years of playing together, North of 49 brings a level of chemistry, musicianship, and authenticity that only comes from decades of shared experience. Whether performing in clubs, festivals, private events, or corporate settings, the band consistently creates an energetic and engaging live show that keeps audiences singing along and on their feet. If you’re looking for a band that captures the spirit of classic rock and pop while delivering a polished, professional performance, North of 49 delivers every time.
Aurora, Ontario natives Shannon & Brendan Beresford have a way of capturing audiences wherever they play. Whether it's their undeniable sibling-duo chemistry, the fusion of Shannon's powerhouse vocals with Brendan’s rich harmonies and masterful guitar solos, or their Country-Rock sound, they are solidifying their place in the Canadian music scene.
STEPH is an emerging artist/singer/songwriter fronting her own band based out of the GTA. As an active member of the local music community, STEPH participates and performs at music festivals, events, and venues around the GTA. Captivating melodies, a unique vocal tone, and memorable performances leave STEPH fans wanting more every time. STEPH is currently working on exciting new projects and strives to continue to perform, and create connections with the world through the universal language of music.
The Devin Cuddy Band is a Juno-Nominated, Toronto-based roots-country band, led by pianist and singer-songwriter Devin Cuddy (son of Blue Rodeo’s Jim Cuddy). They are recognized for their unique blend of New Orleans blues and country.
Crash Test Dummies are a Canadian rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Anchored by Brad Roberts and his distinctive bass-baritone voice, the other band members have fluctuated over the years. Its most prominent line-up consisted of Roberts, Ellen Reid, Brad's brother Dan Roberts, Benjamin Darvill, and Mitch Dorge.
The band is widely known internationally for their 1993 single "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm" and in Canada for multiple top ten songs including their debut 1991 single "Superman's Song"

Eunice Keitan is the sound of the Third Culture Kid. This Malaysian-Canadian Neo-Soul loop artist channels the complex feeling of navigating two worlds, fusing the smoothness of R&B with evocative, ancestral Asian soundscapes.
Using a hybrid of live looping and live ensemble, she builds lush, deep, and layered narratives - songs that are emotionally candid about identity and belonging. Her genre bending sound has garnered international support from BBC Radio, stereofox and CBC Music, drawing sonic comparisons to the soulful grace of Emily King, Erykah Badu and the experimental textures of Hiatus Kaiyote.
With a growing international footprint, Eunice continues to captivate audiences across Canada, Europe, and Asia with a sophisticated, genre-bending show that blends high-level musicianship with evocative cultural storytelling.
Priyana is a 21 year old South Asian, queer, autistic singer-songwriter from Toronto who makes indie/folk-pop music for people with big feelings who want to feel seen. She is currently signed to Nettwerk Music Group. She has performed across Toronto, at The Mercury Lounge in NYC, and venues in LA. priyana has built a community online through her unique combination of singing while crocheting. She released her debut album at 18 and has since released 12 singles with more to come soon!

The Lucky Pennies lean into their love of roots, folk, and pop with an acoustic set-up: double bass, dobro, drums, harmonica and guitar. If Hank Williams and Courtney Barnett went on a road trip together, the playlist might sound a bit like us! You can find us around town at markets, festivals and pubs. 21-year-old Siobhan Bodrug is “tearing it up” (Hidden Beats Media) with her catchy, retro-modern indie-pop. Her dark & intimate melodies evoke Billie Eilish, her powerhouse delivery channels Alicia Keys. Siobhan has captivated audiences at Rockwood Music Hall NYC, Winnipeg Folk Festival, & Summerfolk. She's opened for Stars, Juno winners Dizzy, Joel Plaskett, & Elliott Brood. Siobhan is nominated for a Canadian Screen award in the category of Achievement in Music - Original Song for her work on the feature film Dreameater. This summer, she's at Summerfest—world’s largest music festival—on the bill with Ed Sheeran, Post Malone, & The Roots.
Jakob’s Agenda is a four-piece cover band based out of Stouffville, Ontario, bringing an energetic mix of ’80s and ’90s favourites to the stage. Rooted in ’90s rock influences like Pearl Jam and Matchbox Twenty, the band blends nostalgic hooks with a fresh, live-band edge.

Ms. Zhu Yanyan, a Guqin player and performer developed this heritage studying with Guqin masters of Jinling School, Zhucheng School and Guangling School. She is founder of Toronto Ya-Yue Art Centre started in 2008 and over 10 years held traditional culture and arts lectures in Yaji (elegant gathering), classical music concerts, art exhibitions and other Literati based cultural activities to promote Chinese traditional court music, classic Kunqu music and literati arts, martial arts, tea culture and etc. for University of Toronto Libraries, Public Libraries, several universities & colleges and communities in several cities across Canada in Asian Heritage Month Celebration. She is founder of Canada One Family Network started in 2015 promote annual Age of Literati Culture Festival, including presentation, performance, workshops, concerts , art exhibitions, Go contest, tea ceremony etc. to demonstrate literati philosophy, literature, and arts. COFN provide education and performance for public and contribute to multicultural Canadian community.
West Indian Fusion Dance Center was established in 2006 by artistic director. Selena Naraine-Jalser as an opportunity to share her love for dance and to help promote the cultural development of the youth in the community. They specialize in a variety of East and West Indian Style dances such as Bharatnatyam, Bollywood, Semi-Classical, Folk, Chutney, and Soca.
JUNO award-nominee Nimkii-nini (Thunder-man) is a hoop dancer and storyteller from Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory. With roots in the pow wow trail, his solo performance weaves ancestral stories and teachings through dance and song—inviting audiences to witness the strength, transformation, and unity at the heart of Anishinaabe culture

Our family of dedicated teachers offers in-person and online instruction that builds strong foundations, sparks creativity, and helps every student reach their full potential. WANNABE DANCE CREW is a K-Pop dance cover team, formed in September 2023. We are a collective diversity that was connected through our shared love and passion for dance and K-Pop. Although we mainly focus on K-pop covers, we hope that in the future we will be releasing other dance and variety content as well!
Maya Gamzu, born in 2008, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and actor recognized for her powerful voice, stage presence, and emotive storytelling. In 2023, she rose to national attention as a contestant on Canada’s Got Talent, earning the coveted Golden Buzzer for her standout performance

Laurelle Augustyn, a singer-songwriter from Toronto, Ontario, captivates audiences with her energetic, soulful performances showcasing a unique blend of folk, roots, and rock music. Her debut album, “Lullaby”, can be found on all the usual streaming platforms. Laurelle also enjoys performing and recording with other local musicians such as Derek Christie, Kevin Zarnett, Richard Malouin, and brilliantfish.
Founder of The Dunes. Singer songwriter with songs placed in multiple TV and motion pictures notably Limitless Heartland Flashpoint and others. Markham boy through and through. Songs of love and loss and the human condition.
Reishi Maylen an Ontario-based psychedelic / progressive / jam rock artist who brings a wide range of musicality to the stage, seamlessly blending everything from driving progressive rock passages to Grateful Dead-inspired psychedelic jams, exhilarating electric guitar solos, exploratory group improvisation, and thoughtfully inspiring lyrics promoting peace, love, harmony, and symbiosis.
