Location: Middle Stage

Cerae is a 21 year old singer-songwriter from Toronto, Canada. Although she is a fresh face on the music scene, she is no stranger to the stage. From a young age, she was surrounded by music in the home. However, it was in the church where she was able to work on her craft and hone her skills. She draws inspiration from musical influences such as Lauryn Hill, Mariah Carey, The Bee Gees, The Winans, Michael Jackson, and Jacob Collier. Cerae aspires to cross the boundaries between the genres of R&B, neo soul, gospel and funk to create relevant messages that portray the human experience. Her musical journey started within the church and will always tie back to the reason for it all: Christ.
