Memories of Spain Dance Company (formerly Flamenco Festival Dancers) is a professional dance company dedicated to presenting the colourful and passionate dance which originated in Spain. Company shows delight audiences of all ages and include lively and dramatic dances that honour traditional flamenco, Spanish classical and modern popular trends.

Memories of Spain Dance Company is managed by artistic director, choreographer, and lead dancer, Helen Knight. Helen has danced extensively with many of Canada’s foremost Spanish dance companies. She has performed across Canada for festivals, theatre concerts, for television, with symphony orchestras and operetta productions. She formed her own company in 2018 forging new works drawing on Spanish traditions.

Helen is also director of Memories of Mexico Dance Company.
