All Ages Street Dance Party - Friday
Friday night, June 20, will feature an All Ages Street Dance at the south end of the Festival following the First Nations Opening Ceremony at 6. Come and learn how to dance with a First Nations Community Round Dance, Pulse Dance Works, Line Dance with Cheatin’ Hearts and Sole2Soul Latin/Salsa.
Auto Classics - Friday
Step back in time with classic vintage cars from Markham Stouffville and Thornhill Cruisers! Chat with car owners and enjoy retro tunes from the ’60s to ’80s. A fun stop for families, friends, and fans of all things classic and cool!
Kids Zone - Saturday
Get ready for tons of fun on the St. Andrew’s United Church lawn! Enjoy free face painting, crafts and games with Markham Teen Arts Council, and Taekwondo demos with Moohan Taekwondo. Plus, join a dreamcatcher “make ’n take” workshop with Indigenous artist Naomi Peters—spots are limited, so reserve early!
dog Zone - Saturday
Saturday is for the dogs and pup parents! The Dog Zone organized by Markham Dog Alliance returns on June 21. Held on the north end of the street, the day dedicated to our beloved furry friends and their human companions. There will be lots of dog vendors, photo opportunities, music and human food. Plus St. Andrew’s Presbyterian will be hosting a Pet Pause area for your dogs to cool off.

Don’t miss these highlights to celebrate Indigenous History Month with us! Enjoy live performances by Natasha Fisher and J-Rez, dreamcatcher-making with artist Naomi Peters, free tastings from Wholesome Conscious and Healthy Planet, and handmade goods from the vendors of the Three Sisters Indigenous Craft Market.
